Eco Factor: Artificial light trapping concept recycles emitted light from lamps.
The Neway concept by Baita Design Studio has been conceptualized to harness light emitted by indoor lamps to recharge portable electronic gadgets. The system has been designed with a layer of photovoltaic cells that harness emitted light from lamps at night and stores the energy in an onboard battery that can later be used to provide more light to recharge gadgets.
During daytime, the system can be placed outdoors to harness the clean energy of the sun, which can later be used to power LED lamps as well.
