Naturmobil is the horse cart of the 21st century

Ideally the term horse power is used as a unit of measurement of the maximum power output of internal-combustion engines of automobiles in general. But Abdolhadi Mirhejazi from Dubai has taken it in its literal sense and has come up with a vehicle that is powered only by a horse! And I am not talking of a run of the mill horse cart but an antithesis version of it. He decided to put the cart in front of the horse. Christening it as Naturmobil, it is a fully-enclosed cart has the horse in back, walking on a treadmill. The treadmill not only powers the car, it charges a battery which can take over when the horse is tired. So no calls from PETA guys! Also the alternative energy of horse’s power is used to power two LCD advertising screens mounted on the sides of the Naturmobil.

Featuring a lightweight polycarbonate frame and complex gearing, it can reach speeds of up to 80km/h.
