You know how they say every dark cloud has a silver lining? Well, after looking at the marvelous Cloud Lamps, I can certainly say that the above mentioned phenomenon definitely makes a lot of sense. Created by UK-based designer Yu Jordy Fu, the series features five astonishing lampshades made from recycled paper that combine with a milky white energy saving bulb to produce a rather pristine and mystery-inspiring ambiance.
Named Angels, Memory, Prague, Grandpa and Story, the lamps bring sustainable simplicity and intimacy to domestic lighting. With each delicate paper-cut expressing an entity from a magical wonderland, the lamps distribute the effect of intrigue throughout the space with their soft, benevolent light.
Available in a range of sizes, the lights are offered as table lamps, floor lamps and even pendant light and retail for £90-£250 each.
