Until now, we have seen stationary wind turbine standing on land or in water to generate clean energy, but now it’s time to witness mobile energy source. This portable wind turbine includes a carrier that uses electricity harnessed from wind energy to run. An electric traction motor powers its each wheel and in case it requires extra power or the batteries are drained, the diesel generator automatically starts, allowing the vehicle to contentious moving.
The self-erecting 2 piece wind turbine tower is raised safely like an asymmetric scissor jack by hydraulics on the main boom. The high performance light weight glass filled extruded thermoplastic tower sections make for an extremely strong tower structure that also reduces transport weight. The power generated from the wind turbine can be used for various applications like military purposes, vertical drilling and powering schools, small businesses and office parks without the cost of permanent installation.
It could also be used for large scale portable power simply by using many mobile wind turbines. Larger trailer size batter storage units could store the extra power that the generator produces.
