Letao Tao has created this very natural looking wall clock that is made entirely out of aspen wood. The Foliage Clock has a plethora of spanner shaped pieces of aspen wood which interlock into each other in perfect harmony to result in a trendy, minimalist looking clock. Finishing the aspen wood is also done in a green way with Tao using natural tung oil. The wall clock’s dial sees three hands which, though shaped non conventionally, manage to complement the minimalist design without looking out-of-place. We, for our part would have liked the clock to feature a hand wind mechanical movement in order to eliminate batteries and further the eco-friendly bit. Overall, the Foliage Clock is an eco-friendly design concept that looks rustic and trendy at the same time.
