Eco Factor: Solar-powered circular self-positioning sun bed.
LMV Design Technology has announced a new solar-powered circular lounger for superyachts. Christened the Lasy Solar, the sustainable self-positioning sun bed doesn’t need a power connection with the yacht as it is equipped with solar panels that generate all the energy the lounger needs.
The energy generated by the photovoltaic cells is stored in the lithium batteries hidden in the base of the lounger. With a diameter of 2.6m, the Lasy Solar offers push button control to continuously rotate in either direction. The lounger’s onboard intelligent sensors position it automatically towards the sun.
For added comfort in the sun, the lounger also include a Mist Breeze system, which releases a fine water mist to help users stay cool and refreshed in the heat. Priced at a whopping €108,000, the Lasy Solar can be customized in any size and color to suit user requirements.
