Kia also wants to take a pie out of the expanding electric vehicle market and according to a new report, the company is gearing up to release its first electric vehicle in 2013.

Though not much detail about the vehicle is available so far, Autoblog Spanish reported that Kia is planning to base the production model on the Venga EV concept that debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
