Created by Boston-based art-group Artists for Humanity, the ReVision tables evolved as a response to the lack of sustainable green furniture in mainstream home décor. The design mainly uses recycled magazines and junk mail as its main structure with surfaces finished with a water resistant no-voc eco-friendly resin. The inspiration for the table came from the group’s own award-winning “green” AFH EpiCenter, a LEED Platinum building which is the highest designation of the US Green Council. By reincorporating previously discarded materials into high-quality durable furniture, the group is able to voice its own strong sentiments about sustainable living and recycled designs.
