We have seen numerous electric sports-bike conceptions and heck even sustainable dirt bike designs. But here is the all electric Volta EV1 that scrupulously manages to fuse the above two bike elements into a singularly trendy component with a swanky impression.
The adamantly ‘green’ Volta EV1 is the first product of Volta Motorbikes, a Spanish company founded by Marc Barceló. Coming with two engine variations, the free flowing form adroitly defined by a compact character makes this bike ideal for zero emission urban commuting. Coming to the specifications, the 15CH engine (equivalent to 125 cc) offers a range of 70km and a top speed of 110 kmph, while the more powerful 38CH engine (still in the works) is expected to give a range of 50-60 km.
The prices are still not divulged, but expected to be around the same range of its gas guzzling peers. And according to reports, the bike will enter the production phase after its prototype has been showcased at the eminent Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA) this year.
