The only word I can think of to describe the finesse displayed by this bamboo basket is meticulous. I mean who could have ever thought that the humble bamboo basket could look so sexy! The design was showcased at the TAI Gallery/Textile Arts center in Sante Fe New Mexico. The semi-transparent weave with an intricate pattern adorning both faces of the basket makes it an ideal standalone sculpture too if you don’t want to use it to carry your things!
