There are lots of wireless transmitting devices; however, Intel’s new prototype, in the form of two copper rings, reverberates at certain frequencies that produce electricity. The special feature is that it uses resonance rather than induction, delivering a higher efficiency (almost 75%),which means a tremendous amount of power can utilized, with very little going to waste.

This system certainly is a treat, and more such possibilities can result in a world where gadgets can be wirelessly charged. As interesting as it sounds, the current downside to the system is the loss of electricity, and with the current condition of our environment even a little bit of power wastage cannot be encouraged. However, the system is not a bad deal, and can be a really good thing with minute other modifications. So till then the choice is truly ours, either happily enjoy this system or give this a couple of more years wherein a wireless system can be enjoyed with zero wastage!
