Indianapolis artists to hold art exhibition on environment protection!

harrison center for the arts 9Exhibition — This is undoubtedly a sensitive and effective platform to aware masses on any needed actions. Perhaps, thinking on these lines, a group of Indianapolis artists is planning a special exhibition on protecting the environment.

The artists participating in the exhibition, devaSTATE will be given a reception on Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Harrison Center for the Arts, 1505 N. Delaware St.

Harrison Center, in a news release, said, This proactive exhibition is an aesthetic response to the current state of Indiana’s environment… The exhibit aims to provoke a discussion about how traditional thinking has shaped our response to environmental issues, both positively and negatively. The art may, in some cases, reinforce our traditions. In other cases, it may challenge those traditions and urge us to think creatively about responses to environmental issues.
