Eco Factor: Zero-emission vehicles powered by electricity.
Chinese automaker IAT Auto, which introduced the Wufeng concept vehicle back in 2006, is back in Beijing this year with three new zero-emission vehicles that have been inspired by Chinese tradition and culture. The three new rides include the Zhu Feng, the eTaxi and the Wufeng II.
The Zhu Feng (Bamboo Wind) has a top speed of 145kph and has an all-electric range of about 160km. The eTaxi is more like a standard sedan, with swappable battery configuration that can be replaced in about 90 seconds. The recharge time is about 8 hours with an 80 percent recharge time of 30 minutes.
The Wufeng II is an updated version of the vehicle that was showcased in 2006 and features a meaner and sportier look with gullwing doors. The Wufeng II has a top speed of 200kph and can go from 0-100kph in just 7 seconds.
