We have come a far way from cave dwellings and tents to the recent avant-garde apartments and mansions. By utilizing structures and resources found in nature, to stylish designs of the 21st century, the evolution of housing continues. What the house of the future will look like is beyond my imagination. But Victor Vetterlein has exceptional visions of a conceptual house for the future. Named as Reboot, it seems Victor has been inspired by the Jettisons for conjuring up this pod house. Breaking all the norms of today’s architectural notions, this high-tech futuristic stands out for being totally self-sufficient and environment friendly. The pod-like house makes use of solar cell paint, wind turbines and rainwater collection to harvest energy.
The internal environment is digitally controlled and operated by voice activated sensors, remote controls and touch pads or remotely from a mobile phone or computer.
The designer incorporates a variety of different renewable energy options together. To read and understand more about the Reboot in details, read here.
Hope to change my address to Reboot some day….that is if I live long enough for such concepts to materialize.
I too want to live self-sufficiently in ‘Reboot’ which is eco friendly!
