‘Kazekamome Remote Hybrid’, introduced by Hybridyne Power Systems Canada, unleashes a new era in the way we’re tapping natural resources, apparently, without incurring any damage and it clearly proves that our union with eco-friendly products would never be the same.
The incredible and innovative streetlight combines the power of both the sun and the wind to create electricity. The unique concept is still under trail and would cost much less than a common 100-watt streetlight that sucks in around $43 per year to operate.
What make the eco-friendly streetlamp, that packs a solar panel with a miniature axis turbine that spins with wind, special is its energy-saving luminaries which is switched automatically by a light sensor and the fact that it can be adapted to include a Wi-Fi security webcam.
It consists of a 400w wind power generator, a 150w-180w solar photo voltaic panel (depending on local sunlight condition) , a set of 35 / 55 / 90 W low voltage sodium light, and two 100 / 150ah 12 / 24v lead-acid battery units. The egl wind / solar hybrid street lighting unit is capable of providing 4600-12750 lux for 10 to 14 hours of lighting.
Benefits Of Hybrid Streetlight:
It does not require any external electricity supply with the incorporated wind and solar power generation systems.
The system is ideal for use as a lighting fixture, for security applications, remote asset monitoring and as an advertising platform.
Hybrid lamp saves on hydro costs and provides energy from a renewable source without adding greenhouse gases.
It does not rely on mains power, instead the WS400 wind turbine and/or the solar panels converts wind power and solar power into electrical energy.
It is an innovative, environmentally friendly and independent outdoor lighting system that is cost effective and simple to install almost anywhere.
The whole system is virtually maintenance free and there are NO daily running costs-the power is completely free and clean.
