Eco factor: Concept bike is human powered.
Designer Mantas Palaima has visualized a three-wheel concept bike for easy commutation. Dubbed as the Velorian trike, the compact and lightweight recumbent bike is made from carbon fiber and aluminum. The trike can be folded by unlocking the pivot first then bending the fork between two rear wheels and folding the seat over the front frame and then locking up. The bike’s back wheel steering and front wheel driving mechanism ensure superior maneuverability, giving the trike greater stability.
The trike is easily transportable and makes for an ideal short-distance city ride.
