Yup, it is that time of the year when the red carpet is laid, the bright lights are on and useless speeches are made. We are getting close to the Oscars and we are already there when it comes to announcing the best of 2007. It is this time of the year that we see everyone coming out with a list of the best and worst in the past year. Now let’s face it, these lists are popular as everyone is interested in knowing about who stands where. While the list that I’m going to give you might not be star-studded, it sure as hell helps you in a very practical way.
Greendaily is a site that gives you information about the latest environment gadgets around and they have launched their list of the top 8 gadgets of 2007 that would save your bills. Now first, eight is a bit of an odd number to choose. I thought we all were going to see the top 10. But it probably is because they were very selective and did not want to add trash and dilute their list. Secondly, remember that it is their list and just as when 10 people sit down to prepare an all time great list of baseball or basketball players and come up with 10 different lists, this is also just a matter of individual perception.
The list starts off with Solar Cell Chargers. Now we have seen these products earlier and we are well aware of their capabilities. The Solio Hybrid 1000 is a $70 charger that lets you power your gadgets on the go. These chargers not only save your bills, but also save your face when you run out of charge suddenly. You can just go out and you are back to power again. Similarly, it also gives you a great excuse to take a 20minute break from your desk at work.
