Fine Arts Center in Egypt: An example of modern architecture that is sustainable too

Fine Arts center in Egypt

It has been rightly said by Marcus V. Pollio, “Architecture is a science arising out of many other sciences, and adorned with much and varied learning; by the help of which a judgment is formed of those works which are the result of other arts.” Moatasem Esmat, who belongs to the Mataria Engineering School has come up with a brilliant idea. He has proposed a new Fine Arts Center for Helwan.

Surfacing from the ground, these architectural marvels will be fit for human habitation. The design is a fusion of modern architecture and also a paradigm of sustainability. With the idea of green buildings picking its pace in today’s world, the project comes as a breath of fresh air. The creation keeps in mind the optimum use of natural elements, such as rain water, sunlight and air.

The casing of this design has a massive amount of greenery. This indeed, is fit for the hot and humid climate of Egypt. The native greenery will endure the level of humidity in that country. The roof of this contemporary sustainable design also is a green effort. Also, at different areas and levels, courtyards are created to receive natural sunlight.

Furthermore they provide ventilation to the space inside the structure. Hence the design prepares the structure for harnessing solar energy and wind energy while harvesting even a single drop of rain. The formation includes convention center, academic buildings and an exhibition hall.
