Eco Factor: Low-emission car to be powered by a hybrid engine.
After years of speculation, Ferrari has finally announced that it will unveil a hybrid variant of the Ferrari 599 at the Geneva Motor Show. The car is expected to utilize an all-wheel drive hybrid propulsion system for which the company filed patents in June 2009.
The details are scant, but according to the company, the car will represent a great path toward the future. The company unveiled the 599 GTB at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show, and since then rumors have been circulating that Ferrari would one day produce a hybrid version of its exotic sports car, which has finally gained momentum.
