This is something that had to take shape, and we are actually a tad surprised that it took such a long time for some designer to come up with this idea. While the idea is great it is the execution that needs plenty of work put into it. The Energy Box is a device that uses solar energy to charge up all your gadgets. Just put the gadget in the open slot at the top and let it juice up. It can apparently be used for mobiles, MP3 players and various other little electronic gadgets that modern life throws in your pocket.
Designed by Jiang Hao of China, the concept sounds great but will it actually work? While I would love to see every gadget of every company be charged by one charger, the slots just do not make it possible. If this means we need to get an adapter for each one then this is an idea that people are sure to lose interest in very soon. If the Energy Box can indeed charge up all the gadgets with one slot then I would dearly love to see that slot. Moreover, if this is solar-charged, how much will you extract from that tiny surface area? For now the concept sounds great but the design could use some work.
