Eco Factor: Motorcycle modified to boost fuel efficiency.
In an effort to boost the mileage of his Honda Innova motorcycle, enthusiast Allert Jacobs has modded his motorbike from aerodynamic modifications, converting it into a streamliner that now is capable of hitting an efficiency rating of 214mpg.
The stock version of the Innova weighs 231lbs and features a fuel injected, four stroke 125cc engine that manages 114mpg while producing a power output of 9hp. The aerodynamic mods increased the top speed to 69mph from 56mph, while increasing the weight of the motorbike by 43%.
