Demands for fibrous mats that are used for agriculture, controlling soil erosion, and desert management are increasing across the world. Fibrous mats by Ecomat are one of such products. To mint this market contour to the maximum, Ecofuture Bhd is targeting the international markets for its range of biomass products, specifically its Ecomat fibrous mats. The company’s managing director Yeo Kim Luang informed. Aside from the Ecomat mats, Ecofuture is also involved in milling, the sale of crude oil and palm oil kernels, and produces a range of bio-degradable and eco-friendly products.’We are still negotiating with a few Middle Eastern countries and we understand that Lebanon may be interested in purchasing our product from January,’ the managing director added. The company is targeting to introduce Ecomat to countries like Australia, the USA and countries in South America for trials.
