Eco Factor: Zero-emission foldable scooter powered by electricity.
We’ve seen plenty of folding bikes that allow users to pack them into small luggage items for easy carriage. XOR Motors is taking the trend a bit farther by launching a zero-emission folding scooter that is designed to be powered by clean electricity.
Dubbed XO2, the scooter was showcased at the EICMA Motorbike Show in Milan and is touted to be an ideal scooter for city commuting. Recharging the scooter is as simple as recharging a cellphone. The company claims that just a two-hour connection to a wall socket charges the onboard batteries to 80% capacity.
The scooter can easily be folded into a quarter cubic meter luggage cart to ease storage, and once unfolded it can hit a top speed of about 100mph. The scooter will be made available in three variants depending on their range and top speed.
