Eco Factor: Concept zero-emission vehicle made from recyclable materials.
Industrial designer James Yarger has come up with a zero-emission transportation concept dubbed the Yarga YoYo that is primarily a single seat inner city transportation vehicle. The vehicle can also be a part of a larger transportation system that offers vehicles on rent basis.
The Yarga YoYo is designed to be powered by electric motors that get charged by a hydrogen fuel cell power pack. . The YoYo also allows its passenger’s hands free driving to allow them to use their electronic devices undistracted by the task of driving.
On entering the vehicle, the YoYo allows its occupant to use a Google Earth-based program to key in the destination after which the onboard computer takes over. Using the principals of bio-mimicry, its shape is inspired by the Nautilus.
The large outboard wheels provide superior side impact protection and the frame is to be made from recycled PVC plastic covered in a carbon & recycled aluminum fiber coating. The YoYo can also double as a personal cabin or a sleeping berth.
