Eco Factor: Music station running on a homemade solar generator.
Recently we saw a solar-powered home theater setup designed by HTSA, and today we have a solar-powered music station with DJ capabilities that runs on a homemade setup of solar panels and robust batteries. Designed by an eco-minded metal sculptor, Scott Whitaker, the Solar Saucer stereo has been made from scraps. Scott states that the scrap items were collected last year and it took him a month to bring the setup to life.
Designed in the form of a UFO, the Solar Saucer hosts a number of solar panels which recharge 16 heavy-duty batteries. The inventor states that the system generates more than 255 watts of green electricity an hour which is enough to power the sound system for a month while emanating 4,000 watts of crystal clear sound.
