Eco Factor: Small solar powered robotic unit can purify contaminated water in areas with limited volumes of water.

RIPPLE is a small size robot specially designed to remove contaminants from small ponds and lakes. The robot measures the level of contamination by GPS and with the help of a hybrid system, consisting of an ozonator and photocatalytic surface, starts the purification process. If the contamination level is found to be too high for a single robot, it can communicate with another group of units in any particular area.

The upper surface includes PVs which provide the required amount of energy to the system and next to it lays the computing unit. Most importantly, the ozonator and photocatalytic surface are placed at the lower part of robot enabling them to function in an efficient manner.
