Eco Factor: Water saving wall basin mixer concept uses a stone to reduce the amount of water being released.

Other than the demands for cheap and renewable energy, the world today needs solutions to reduce water wastage during everyday use. Industrial designer Wong Ngo Bun is out there to help the masses reduce the amount of water that is wasted with a simple yet elegant wall basin mixer concept that can have a dramatic effect on your water consumption.

The Stone in the Creek as the system is being referred to, comes with two working modes. The first mode known as the Straight Flow Mode is activated when the stone on the top of the basin in pulled upwards. In this mode water from the tap runs fast and in high volume, this is ideal if you want to fill a container with water.

The second mode dubbed the Side Flow Mode is the water saving mode, which is activated when the stone is pushed downwards. In this mode the amount of water released from the tap is lowered but the surface area of the flow is increased making it ideal for washing hands of rinsing large objects.
