With the market already flooding with portable electronic gadget chargers that run on solar energy, companies are trying to integrate other features in their devices that can help them gain an edge over others. Cleannergy is working on the same principle and have launched a new solar charger for laptop computers and other portable electronic devices that doubles as a solar-powered light for indoor and outdoor use.
Dubbed GET-SCL001B, the solar gadget charger carries a built-in 20V/2.0A charger that churns out 40W of green power, enough to charge your notebook computer in just three hours. The device is equipped with four 3.7V/4.5Ah batteries and a controller system that offers five output voltage settings to suit a wide range of devices.
The device is equipped with a built-in LED flashlight and has an additional LED light attachment that acts as a reading light running on the energy stored in the onboard batteries.
