Eco Factor: Solar charger for mobile devices.

Solar-charger market has recently been kept busy with a lot of charging devices that all basically do the same thing – charge your portable electronic devices using the energy harnessed from the sun. Battech has launched another participant in this solar charger race called the iPower SX. The company claims that this new device has a much better battery than all other chargers available in the market. The iPower SX comes with a 2200mAh battery, which can power your iPod for 50 hours of nonstop music. Apart from digital cameras and MP3/MP4 players, the $60 charger can also charge the iPhone and mostly all Nokia devices as well. In case of a cloudy day you can also charge the iPower SX via your computer’s USB port.

The Dark Side:

The charger’s higher battery capacity comes after paying a higher price. Other solar chargers can keep an iPod running for 18-20 hours, which is much more than what someone actually requires.
