Adding a touch of ecofriendliness to your bedroom is this cute looking alarm clock that comes with a built-in planter. As soon as the alarm turns on, the clock’s light source is activated. The light source here consists of 10 photosynthesis-encouraging LEDs that shine bright on top of a planter carrying your favorite flowers. This light keeps on shining all day long and has to be turned off manually when the user goes to bed.
The Dark Side:
Using LEDs to carry out photosynthesis is simply waste of resources. LEDs, though energy-efficient, consume some electricity. We would have give the product a thumbs-up if it used some kind of a renewable energy generating technique to carry out photosynthesis.
