Skyscrapers are now rising to the occasion of ecofriendliness with stunning innovations. Carol Willis, director of New York City’s Skyscraper Museum seems to be all optimistic with the innovation, leading a tour of the museum exhibit Green Towers for New York. “If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere,” Carol said. It is economic necessity that gave rise to skyscrapers, as New York City is no showplace city.
The exhibit was on 14 towers. And all of the designs featured them with significant green or environmentally friendly sustainable skyscraper. It clearly demonstrates the era of the sustainable skyscraper has begun. All of these buildings are either recently completed or under construction.
