Here is a milder and less toxic explosive for both hunters and the defence fraternity. A scientist from the Los Alamos National Laboratory has developed this explosive, which is cleaner and safer both for the health and environment.

The new type of primary explosive, are among those which ignites the main charges in a bullet or conventional bomb. Possessing three patents, the explosive in not only milder to the health and environment, but also less expensive to produce compared to the traditional lead azide and lead styphnate primary explosives.

This new explosive could not only protect ammunition manufacturers, but also reduce land and water pollution near shooting ranges and military bases.
