Eco Factor: Sustainable lamp made using recycled materials.
New York-based designer Kellam Clark’s effort to create something brilliant out of waste has ended in a sustainable lamp, which is a combination of energy-saving LEDs and recycled metal coins. Dubbed Starlight, the lamp casts varying shadows as you walk by.
The designer states that the lamp was born after realizing the impact of tons of metal scrap that is discarded every day. Clark and partner Branko Balic have also decided to utilize the company’s little cast-off medallions to reinterpret the starry night as a light fixture.
