Eco Cars: Think debuts all-electric ambulance

Eco Factor: Zero emission vehicle powered by all-electric engine.

Norwegian electric car brand Think has shown its trust in electric vehicles by unveiling a small ambulance for a tiny Dutch island off the cost of the Netherlands that runs on batteries. Without going much into the technical details including the top speed this emergency vehicle runs at, the company claims that the vehicle is equipped with a full range of life-saving equipment.

The Dutch company, UMGC Ambulance Service, is keen to demonstrate its environmentally responsible ethos by complementing its fleet of ambulances with the electric Think City. The electric ambulance has a range of 180km, which seems decent for an island that has just 12 miles of roads and 51 miles of bike paths.
