Eco Factor: Zero-emission transportation vehicle powered by batteries.
Nissan VanNEXT is the work of industrial designer Victor Romero who has tried to make some deep changes in small transport vehicles in use today. The all-electric concept vehicle features a simple and efficient exterior design, with rounded frontal surfaces that better the vehicle’s aerodynamic properties.
The exterior skin in the cargo area is made from textile material that has a tensile strength equal to steel. This allows the user to completely open the cargo area for better accessibility. The interior provides comfortable space for two people including the driver. The steering wheel of the vehicle is movable that can be moved to the front to improve access to the cabin.
Seats are reinforced for better safety in case of a crash. The VanNEXT has a “bone” chassis, where batteries are fitted as supporting elements. The battery bank is modular which allows the driver to install the number of batteries that are essential for a trip to reduce the weight of the vehicle during short runs.
