Eco Factor: Low emission concept car powered by a hybrid engine.
Honda has announced that the company will be unveiling their latest concept minivan dubbed Skydeck at the Tokyo Motor Show to be held this month. The minivan will be powered by the company’s IMA hybrid system, which will promise lower emissions.
In an effort to keep the height of the vehicle low, the company has integrated the hybrid’s batteries and other components inside the center tunnel, which according to Honda allows for more space in the cabin and a lower center of gravity.
Designed for six passengers, the car carries three rows of mesh-backed floating seats, which can fold to allow access to the third row or to increase the cargo space. The car carries a panoramic glass roof to make the car look larger on the inside and also keep the interiors naturally illuminated for a fresh appearance.
