Eco Factor: Concept supercar powered by electricity.

Supercars are known for their gas-guzzling engines, noise and aggression. However, with the change in fuel, supercars would soon be lacking all of the above mentioned features and still provide a silent thrill to the driver. Mark Przeslawski and Hanan Qattan, student designers at Coventry University have created the design of the supercar of the future, known as ESC or Electric Super Car.

The car is touted to be an extremely quite vehicle that still manages to pack the same punch which supercars are known for. The organic, fluid bodywork is designed to highlight the ecofriendly drivetrain and also improve the vehicle’s efficiency by adding to its aerodynamics.

The single-seat vehicle packs the driver is a unique ‘bionic weave’ that runs the entire length of the vehicle and keeps the driver safe in case of an accident. No word on the expected top speed and the all-electric range of the ESC, but considering the styling and the purpose the car has been designed for we believe that it would sport some decent numbers there too.
