EcoFactor: Supercar powered by bio-ethanol.

We all love supercars and we love them more when they take the greener route. Inspired by the iconic Cooper Climax F1, this green baby won’t let you down in any race, be it on a track or on a green scale. Powered by bio-ethanol, the Climax comes with flip-up aero-screens, detachable F1 style steering, a retractable tonneau cover and Climax Control, which promises better performance when you hit the open roads.

This sporty beast needed a lighter body and the aluminum used in its construction has done just that for it. The light weight enables the car to hit 60 mph in less than four seconds and gives it a top speed of 170 mph. If you want to add some more style to the already fabulous design then you can also opt for a carbon fiber construction, for which you might have to pay a wee bit more. The car’s performance and eco-values means that it won’t come cheap. For now the company is planning to roll out only 100 units, with each bearing a price tag of $135,000.

The Dark Side:

The car has a hybrid engine, which means it can also run on unleaded petrol, which we somehow hate at EcoFriend. Moreover the price tag of $135,000 will surely put things down for the company. Does anyone here see 100 customers for it anytime soon?
