Eco Factor: Architect designs amazing utilities from trashed objects.

Look around your house or better yet, go to your garage and check it out, there might be some things that you always wanted to get rid of, be it old timber or the old aluminum doors that you replaced this holiday season. While most of the things might seem no more than scrap to you they are of interest to Jan Korbes of Jan Korbes Garbage Architecture.

Korbes builds astonishing objects using nothing more than some old tires, old timber, old doors and many other things that you just frown at whenever you enter your garage or storeroom. The most amazing craftworks developed by this architect include a Zee Stair, which has been crafted from an old harbor pole and Sinus Stairs II, which actually is a screen-like staircase made from old doors. Check out his complete collection here.

The Dark Side:

We have always encouraged our readers to reuse old objects but reusing old doors that have already been weakened during their lifetime into something more functional such as a staircase could prove to be dangerous.
