Eco Factor: Sustainable office building designed to reduce energy consumption.
Hufft Projects has designed a sustainable office building for R.B. Murray Company that serves to demonstrate the client’s values of ecofriendly architecture. The office building features various energy-saving technologies to reduce the ecological impact of the office building.
A unique butterfly roof has been integrated in the architecture that can be opened to allow the maximum amount of daylight to enter the premises. This reduces the need for artificial lighting during daytime to save energy.
The green building also features natural ventilation and air filtration to keep the interiors cool and help save energy. Moreover, abundant views into the landscape are provided to ensure a healthy and clean working environment for the employees.
