Eco Factor: Solar energy generating meeting point.
Designed by Emir Rifat ISIK, the Solar Meeting Point will make sure you never get bored waiting for someone who doesn’t respect time. The Meeting Point allows a visitor to either sit outside or inside the transparent cabin according to his or her wishes or according to the climate. The transparent walls of the meeting point provide a 360 degree view so you don’t have to stare only at the street from where your friend is expected to arrive.
Apart from providing panoramic views, the Meeting Point is also incorporated with a solar panel that generates electricity to keep the cabin illuminated at night. The nighttime illumination also serves as a distinct signaling element for meetings as well.
The Dark Side:
Installing these solar-powered Meeting Points at all places commonly used for meeting people is not a feasible idea. A more practical approach would be to use these cabins at bus stops where people can also charge their portable gadgets with clean energy.
