Eco Factor: Sustainable development planned by A.A. Asadov Architectural Studio.
The Town Planning Department of Cheboksary city has passed the reconstruction project of a research and production complex “Elara,” which was designed by A.A. Asadov Architectural Studio. The new construction will convert the old development into a modern and sustainable “Technopolis” that will gather science laboratories and processing departments.
The project involves the reconstruction of all old buildings and the development of new ones, which will house retail and business centers. The architectural studio has offered a 3-layered plan for the territory that will involve reconstruction and construction, building of new terraces and passages, which will merge about 10 buildings of the techno-park into a single complex.
The development will include the use of advanced green technologies. The terraces will appear planted and the main production unit’s roof will be converted into a garden with greenhouse that will be cultivating everything from tomatoes to exotic plants.
The development will be built in a way that allows for easy addition of new modules and buildings. The development will make use of advanced passive techniques, harness wind and solar energy for power and make use of natural air for ventilation and minimize waste.
