Eco Factor: Renovated zoological park to run on solar energy, provide better habitat for animals.
TN PLUS Landscape Architects and Beckmann N’Thepe have proposed a sustainable renovation of a zoological park in France, which if completed will partly run on solar power and encompass six “biozones” that will replicate natural environments for the animals living in the park.

The concept’s main mission is to describe conservation efforts to these habitats in their native locations. The original zoo was opened in 1934 on 14.5 acres in the park of Bios de Vincennes and the estimated cost for renovation rests at around €135 million, which might sound a bit too much but considering the end result of the project, the construction cost does seem minuscule.
