Eco Factor: Kayak made from recycled water bottles.
Plastic water bottles are eco-minded DIYers’ favorite item, and we’ve seen plenty of creations that make use of this material, which otherwise takes thousands of years to decompose. Instructables user Chris has come up with a DIY that lets you create a life-saving kayak from trashed water bottles to get out of a deserted island without succumbing to the natural elements.
The kayak is made using hundreds of used plastic water bottles and gets additional flotation from three other junked water gallons tied to the kayak with some wood. Check out the complete DIY at Instructables.
