First it was the exalted hybrid Jaguar C-X75 from the Union Jack, and now it’s time to hail the all-electric Delta E-4 coupe. If you thought your Roadster has a fascinating speed of 125 mph, then it’s also high time for you to turn green with envy, as this vehicle contrived by British car manufacturer Delta Motorsport is touted to romp to a blistering speed of 150 mph.

Coming to the exterior form, we could have hoped for a little more solidity on the rear part, but it’s all a part of the streamlined quotient. Composed of an easy, aerodynamic frame with a 85 kg light weight, yet sturdy chassis made from carbon composite (which makes it 35 percent less heavier than its steel counterpart), the car will also have a convenient range of over 200 miles on a single electric charge, and a fine acceleration rate of 0-60 in under 5 seconds.

The drivetrain will be complemented by a pair of Oxford YASA electric motors that can produce well over 443lb ft of torque and over 118bhp each, while only weighing 23kgs. The car itself is expected to take part in the RAC Future Car Challenge on November 5 – an event that showcases low energy vehicles in a 60 mile zero emission, exhibition-stretch from Brighton to London.
