Most of us have heard of environment-friendly wedding. But, wedding accessories, on which some do not mind even spending in millions, that is biodegradable! Sounding crazy? But, researchers in Naples, Italy, have created a biodegradable wedding dress made of ‘corn’! They used 25 pounds of corn to make the gorgeous sleeveless white wedding gown eco-friendly.
The gown is a frilly, full-length skirt. Made out of a light cloth derived entirely from corn, it reveals an excellent marriage of biotechnology and agriculture – which eventually can solve many pollution or environmental problems as a whole.
According to Italy’s ANSA news agency, experts from Naples University was of special interest there, as the capital of the region faces enormous difficulties disposing of trash.
