Corn-based coffee cups to reduce environmental waste

The disposable coffee mugs have been chocking the landfills across the world rising concerns, created by the 39 billion disposable paper and polystyrene coffee cups, which American throw away every year!

The Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and International Paper have distributed 10 million corn-based coffee cups to cafes and office kitchens across the country. The coatings of the cups are made of corn, unlike the other oil-based compound, and are easily biodegradable once discarded.
