City Compost Bin turns organic trash into rich nutrient soil

It is really awful to see heaps of junk lying here and there, which spoil our environs to almost an irreparable extent. Although the organic trash keeps on decomposing at a snail’s pace but not before it had caused enough nuisance for all. Hoping to suggest a timely solution, Mathieu Azema, a French designer, has come up with the C/N Compost Bin that focuses on appearance and usability of city trash bins.

A unique contrivance to recycle urban organic waste into rich nutrient soil, C/N Compost Bin definitely scores over the existing urban composters. The concept has its roots in studying the consumer behavior and suggesting the right way of correcting it. Instead of asking urbanites to modify their manners, the designer wants them to walk up to the bin – as they were doing it earlier – and put the organic trash into the hot box.

Next, a city municipal attendant will spin the bin while keeping in mind the level of decomposition required for a particular type of trash. Though the designer has not revealed whether his contraption would convert the garbage into rich nutrient soil directly or take time for it, we believe the concept bin does it faster.

Anyhow, the resultant natural fertilizer will be far better than the natural gas-based or chemical fertilizers. Well, since it’s a concept as of now, we definitely need to wait until the green-looking bin comes out of the concept phase.
