Eco Factor: New residential electric charging station for electric vehicles introduced.

It will take some time for the masses to accept EV’s as a favorable mode of transportation. The cars have limited mileage which means they run out of steam fast and need charging often. In a major step that could give a huge boost to the popularity of electric vehicle amongst the masses, Coulomb Technologies has introduced a new residential electric charging station.

The company introduced CT500 Level II Charge Point Networked Charging Station making it easier to charge the vehicle. The device has a power output of 7.2 KW. It comes with fully compatible Leviton’s Evr-Green EVSE “plug-and-play” pre-wiring kit for easy installation along with an industry standard SAE J1772 connector to accommodate a whole range of electric vehicles. There is no word out yet on the pricing factor.
