Eco Factor: Low-emission car made using recycled materials.
A special edition Chrysler 300C that has been signed by about 300 celebrities who attended the Golden Globe Awards will be auctioned February 20, with the proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross Haiti Relief efforts.
Chrysler in collaboration with the Hollywood Foreign Press will be handing over the keys of the limited edition vehicle to the charitable organization, Stars for a Cause. The special edition eco-friendly vehicle uses recycled or sustainable materials, which includes recycled rubber for floor mats, a bamboo wood interior and 100 percent recycled metals.
Moreover, the vehicle will also feature a fuel-efficiency system that will reduce the conventional 8-cylinder engine to 4 cylinders when necessary. The auction will be handled by Leake Car Auction.
